FocalPoint Business coaches are often involved in their community in addition to the work they do with clients.
I just got a pretty neat update from Margaret Maclay ,a FocalPoint Business Coach in Edgewater, New Jersey. Margaret also runs the FocalPoint Assessment Center, and is on our International Business Coach Training and Support team.
As part of the work she does with the Chamber she is also the Co-Chair of the Runners Aid Station and IronMan event site. Her team looks after the athletes and spectators as the pass this high visibility vantage point 3 times during the race! Margaret’s team is managing a support team of over 200 volunteers
She was just interviewed by New York 1 ( NY1). You may not know this but Pat Keirnan, the host of NY1 was born in Calgary, Canada and happens to know Steve Thompson, President of FocalPoint very well.
This is a fantastic event and by all indications New York /New Jersey is well prepared for this huge event.
The IronMan already has a lot of Sport and Performance Coaches involved, but Business Coaches? This might be a first
Congratulations Margaret, and Congratulations to your city!
