My Bio

Pat’s mission is to help good leaders navigate toward greatness. Pat is a top-ranked corporate coach, and has been honored by international coaching organizations with multiple client achievement awards, such as “North American Coach of the Year” and “Top Executive/Corporate Coach”. With a coaching philosophy grounded in the key fundamentals of business and leadership, Pat specializes in catapulting already accomplished leaders and their teams to the next level of personal and professional success.

Pat’s passion has been focused on training and leadership development since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta over 20 years ago. Pat initially worked as a facilitator and trainer with the Dale Carnegie organization. Pat refined his training, development and facilitation skills while working with the Alberta Government developing and delivering competency-based training standards and certification programs for occupations across Western Canada. Pat was attracted into the Telecommunications industry based on his passion for technology, and was quickly promoted into leadership roles with Sprint Canada (as District Manager, Prairie Region), Bell Canada (as Director of Sales) and Shaw Communications (as the Leader of Affiliate Cable Company Relations). While in Telecom, Pat worked to develop people in sales, marketing and operational roles thus refining his coaching and leadership abilities and philosophies.

Today, Pat is focused on coaching and developing leaders within Corporations such as Bell Canada, Core Lab, KPMG, Macleod Dixon, Precision Drilling, Genivar Engineering, Schlumberger, Novartis Pharmaceuticals, SAP and West Jet Airlines. Pat also works one-on-one with elite athletes in transition from the NHL and Olympic sport, and is Corporate Practice Leader for FocalPoint Coaching (a Global Coaching organization, powered by Brian Tracy).  Pat has served on numerous boards of nonprofit organizations, and is an active member and Director of a local Rotary club in Calgary, Alberta.
